Official Contest Rules

• Please read these Rules to participate in the Contest. If you do not agree with any of these Rules, please do not access or otherwise use this site. This Contest is sponsored by Waring Commercial, 1 Cummings Point Road, Stamford, CT 06902
• Contest Eligibility: No purchase necessary to enter or win. Entrant must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and a legal resident of the United States of America at the time of entry to be a valid contestant in the Contest. Full or part-time employees of Waring Commercial and its parent company, affiliates and their immediate family members are not eligible. You must have access to the Internet and a valid email address in order to enter or win.
• How to Enter: Go to www.waringcommercialproducts.com, link to the "Modernist Cuisine Contest," and enter your information as directed.
• Entry Periods: The Contest begins at 12:00 AM EST on (to come from marketing) and ends at 12:00 PM EST on November 30, 2012. Entries received after the end date will not be entered in the giveaway.
• Winner Selection: One entry will be chosen at random.
• Prize: The winner will receive a signed set of Modernist Cuisine: The Art and Science of Cooking by Nathan Myhrvold, Chris Young, and Maxime Bilet. Approximate retail value of prize: $625. No substitution of prize is allowed. Prize may not be cashed, transferred or exchanged. If prize is unclaimed or undeliverable, another name will be selected at random.
• Personal Information: The information collected from you is subject to our privacy policy located at (site address from web group). You agree that personal data, such as your name and address, may be stored and otherwise used for the purposes within the context of this Contest and any other purposes outlined in these Rules. The data may also be used in order to check your identity, postal address and telephone number, or to otherwise verify your eligibility to participate in the Contest and to receive any prize. You have a right to access, review, rectify or cancel any personal data held by Waring Commercial by sending an email to waringmarketing@conair.com. If your data is not provided or is canceled, your entry will be ineligible.
• Release; Limitation of Liability: By participating in the Contest, you agree to release and hold harmless Waring Commercial, its parent company, and including its officers, directors, employees and agents (the "Released Parties") from and against any claim, loss, damage, liability, expense, impairment or cause of action arising out of or related to your participation in the Contest or your receipt or use of any prize. The Released Parties are not responsible for any illegible, incomplete, damaged or inaccurate entries, and/or entries that do not comply with these Rules and/or entries submitted by mail or facsimile. The Released Parties assume no responsibility for entries Waring Commercial is unable to process due to network, hardware or other technical failures or lost e-mail entries, however caused.
• Contest Results: Winner will be notified by email on December 1, 2012 and will be announced at www.waringcommercialproducts.com.
